Once you sign in with your name, the Adobe Connect window will open. There will be buttons at the top of the window towards the left to "Connect My Audio" to connect your computers microphone, "Start My Webcam" to connect your computers camera, and a status button. If you wish to speak, please be sure to connect your audio. If you wish to be seen from your webcam, make sure to click the "Start My Webcam" button.

If you have more than one microphone connected to your computer, make sure to select the specific microphone you wish to use, and that your microphone volume is adjusted properly. Both options are under the microphone icon at the top of the page.
